Egypt raises customs dollar exchange rate to EGP 18.64
The Ministry of Finance raised the customs dollar exchange rate to EGP 18.64 from EGP 17 starting Wednesday’s transaction.
The customs dollar is the price by which the proportion of customs duties and taxes on imports of goods from abroad are calculated.
In late March , the Egyptian pound dropped 14 percent vis-vis the US dollar, the sharpest such drop in five years, trading above EGP 18 since.
